About us~Nice Rag Dolls was created following the success of our range of rag dolls on our sister website www.nicetoyshop.co.uk

Nicetoyshop.co.uk was born in 2004 with the aim to create a range of toys which parents and grandparents would love to buy. The focus was wooden toys designed for babies, toddlers and under 5 year olds. We thought that quality toys for educational or fun imaginative play were missed in a time where plastic toys and TV dominated childrens entertainment.

After 6 months, we introduced a range of traditional rag dolls. Our rag dolls are hand made in Sri Lanka and make a beautiful present for boys and girls of all ages, but especially babies. (Although, some of our customers have bought them for their grown up children who have families of their own, as the rag doll they always wanted but never had!)

The range of rag dolls has done so well, we wanted to create another website, totally dedicated to them and so we began to work on www.niceragdolls.co.uk. At the same time we expanded our range to include the modern designs.
